STARZ has acquired the rights to the historical drama Mary & George<\/em> in the U.S. and Canada.<\/p>\n

The seven-part series, starring Academy Award winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice<\/em>) and Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White & Royal Blue<\/em>), is about a treacherous mother and son who schemed, seduced and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I.<\/p>\n

The show is set to debut in North America as a STARZ original in 2024.<\/p>\n

Mary & George<\/em> was created by playwright D.C. Moore and is produced by Hera Pictures in association with Sky Studios. NBCUniversal Global Distribution handles international sales on behalf of Sky Studios.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
