Set against the backdrop of London at Christmas, <em>Black Doves<\/em> is a story of friendship and sacrifice.<\/p>\n<p>Knightley, Whishaw (<em>This is Going to Hurt<\/em>, <em>A Very British Scandal<\/em>, <em>Paddington<\/em>) and Lancashire (<em>Happy Valley<\/em>) will star alongside Andrew Buchan (<em>Carnival Row<\/em>), Andrew Koji (<em>Warrior<\/em>), Kathryn Hunter (<em>Andor<\/em>), Sam Troughton (<em>Chernobyl<\/em>, <em>Mank<\/em>), Ella Lily Hyland (<em>Fifteen Love<\/em>, <em>Silent Roar<\/em>), Adam Silver (<em>The Diplomat<\/em>, <em>Masters of The Air<\/em>, <em>Eric<\/em>), Ken Nwosu (<em>Look the Other Way and Run<\/em>) and Gabrielle Creevy (<em>In My Skin<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Black Doves<\/em> is created and written by Joe Barton (<em>Giri\/Haji<\/em>, <em>The Lazarus Project<\/em>) and produced by Barton\u2019s Noisy Bear and SISTER.<\/p>\n<p>Barton said, \u201cI started writing the scripts for this show over last year\u2019s Christmas holidays, fueled by turkey sandwiches and discarded bottles of cream liquor.
