Me+You Productions has acquired the life rights to the true story behind the creation of Daisy’s Law in the U.K.<\/p>\n
Daisy, whose true identity is still protected for legal reasons, led a relentless campaign toward enabling children born of rape to be recognized as victims. The story of her battle for justice is set to be told in a drama miniseries entitled Kin<\/em> (w.t.).<\/p>\n The adopted woman sought justice for herself and her biological mother, who was raped as a teenager by her biological father. Kin<\/em> includes the latest chapter in Daisy’s life, following along as she travels to the Caribbean and uncovers her family tree for the first time.<\/p>\n Emma Dennis-Edwards (Consent<\/em>) is writing the script for the drama. She has also written for Candice Carty-Williams\u2019s Champion<\/em>.<\/p>\n More projects from Me+You include\u00a0Close to You<\/em>, starring Elliot Page in his first film role since coming out as a transgender man, and the eight-part drama\u00a0Alice & Jack<\/em>.
