Christian Vesper, CEO of global drama at Fremantle, has been added to the speaker roster for the TV Drama Festival, taking place October 3 to 5. You can register here<\/a>\u00a0for free.<\/p>\n

Vesper\u2019s role sees him build on Fremantle\u2019s portfolio of scripted drama, films and dailies throughout the world, with direct oversight of the company\u2019s founder-led scripted labels, including Miso Film, Wildside, The Apartment, Euston Films and Element Pictures. He oversees Fremantle\u2019s roster of talent partnerships and deals, which includes Chernobyl\u00a0<\/em>director Johan Renck and Michael Parets\u2019s newly launched production company Sinestra, Michael Winterbottom\u2019s Revolution Films, Afua Hirsch\u2019s Born In Me Productions and The Creatives, Fremantle\u2019s three-year partnership agreement with a creative alliance of nine leading independent production companies.<\/p>\n

The second edition of the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free. World Screen\u2019s festivals have an average of 1,700 registered participants and approximately 18,000 views.<\/p>\n
