Creator, writer and director Patrick William Smith sought to depict this in the new mockumentary-style series\u00a0<em>Groundbreaking<\/em>, which follows a team of archaeologists on the brink of unemployment who have become disillusioned with their jobs as they go on a dig in Ireland.
