Kudos Knight, the creative partnership between Kudos and Peaky Blinders<\/em> creator Steven Knight, has appointed Sex Education<\/em> producer Rem Conway as development producer.<\/p>\n

Conway will spearhead Kudos Knight\u2019s plans to grow a scripted production hub in the West Midlands by identifying and nurturing emerging local voices and proven writers from the area. He will focus on championing underrepresented and unheard voices to build a diverse pool of talent.<\/p>\n

A Birmingham native, Conway will be based at the new Kudos Knight office at the Minerva Works in Birmingham, part of Steven Knight\u2019s Digbeth Loc.<\/p>\n

As a writer, producer and director, Conway\u2019s varied production credits include Netflix\u2019s Sex Education<\/em>, BBC\u2019s My Name is Leon<\/em>, ITV\u2019s Our House<\/em> and ITV\/Prime Video\u2019s Riches<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cRem is a fantastic addition to the team,\u201d said Martin Haines, joint managing director of Kudos. \u201cHe shares our drive to supercharge scripted production in Birmingham, and with him on board, a new Digbeth base, a growing pipeline of productions and upcoming investment in local skills, there is real momentum behind the Kudos Knight partnership and the TV industry in Birmingham.\u201d<\/p>\n

In Kudos Knight\u2019s first announced initiative, it will partner with the Birmingham Film Academy to create access into the screen industry for locals, providing practical training courses to ensure participants have the necessary skills to serve the region\u2019s growing production sector.<\/p>\n
