It marks Formula 1\u2019s debut as a producer for a scripted series.<\/p>\n<p>Pending the resolution of the WGA strike, Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby (<em>Iron Man<\/em>, <em>Children of Men<\/em>, <em>The Expanse<\/em>) will serve as writers and executive producers of the series. Executive producers are Tony To (<em>Band of Brothers<\/em>, <em>The Pacific<\/em>) and Dan Sackheim for Bedrock Entertainment and Philippe Maigret, president and managing director of ITV Studios America. Jones is producing through her Piecrust Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne has been driven by our collective passions to tell the story of the characters who inhabit this unique world and what happens behind the scenes of the great and complex sport, while capturing the massive scope and scale of F1,\u201d To said. \u201cWe\u2019re grateful that Felicity has graced us with her enduring commitment and talent, and we are thrilled to collaborate with the team at Formula 1.
