It is based on Frank Sch\u00e4tzing\u2019s international bestseller.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Swarm<\/em> is produced by Intaglio Films\u2019 Doelger, ndF IP\u2019s Eric Welbers, Academy Award-nominated Marc Huffam (<em>The Martian<\/em>, <em>Saving Private Ryan<\/em>) and Ute Leonhardt (<em>Killing Eve<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Yi Qiao, Director Drama, ZDF Studios, said: \u201cSince its world premiere at Berlinale in February, <em>The Swarm<\/em> has become one of the hottest titles in our scripted catalog. The talent behind this production is first class delivering binge-worthy storytelling.
