The hit sci-fi anthology series Black Mirror<\/em> is set to return for a sixth season on Netflix in June.<\/p>\n

With a cast including Aaron Paul, Salma Hayek Pinault, Michael Cera and more, the new season is billed as \u201cthe most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected yet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Black Mirror<\/em> season six is produced by Broke & Bones and licensed by Banijay Rights. It is created, written and executive producer by Charlie Brooker. Jessica Rhoades, Annabel Jones and Bisha K. Ali also executive produce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve always felt that Black Mirror should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people\u2014and myself\u2014or else what\u2019s the point?\u201d Brooker said. \u201cIt should be a series that can\u2019t be easily defined, and can keep reinventing itself.<\/p>\n

\u201cPartly as a challenge, and partly to keep things fresh for both me and the viewer, I began this season by deliberately upending some of my own core assumptions about what to expect. Consequently, this time, alongside some of the more familiar Black Mirror tropes, we\u2019ve also got a few new elements, including some I\u2019ve previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what \u2018a Black Mirror episode\u2019 even is. The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through-and-through, but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before.<\/p>\n
