In the period drama <em>Queen Woo<\/em>, Korea\u2019s King Ko Nam Moo dies, sparking a fierce battle between his brothers\u2019 tribes and a race to marry one of them in order to inherit the throne.<\/p>\n<p><em>A Bloody Lucky Day<\/em> is directed by Pil Gam-Sung (<em>Hostage: Missing Celebrity<\/em>) and written by Kim Min-sung and Song Hanna. It is produced by CJ ENM\u2019s production house Studio Dragon, The Great Show and Studio N and stars Lee Sung-min (<em>Reborn Rich<\/em>), Yoo Yeon-seok (<em>Hospital Playlist<\/em>) and Lee Jung-eun (<em>Parasite<\/em>, <em>Yonder<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Queen Woo<\/em> is directed by Jung Se-kyo (<em>Oh! My Gran<\/em>) and written by Lee Byoung-hak (<em>The Royal Tailor<\/em>). Jun Jong-See (<em>Bargain<\/em>) has been cast as Queen Woo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud of our Korean content that is finally taking the global stage, engaging viewers and fans on Paramount+ and beyond,\u201d said Catherine Park, senior VP and head of streaming and regional lead for Asia at Paramount. \u201cThe addition of <em>A Bloody Lucky Day<\/em> and<em> Queen Woo<\/em> strengthens our global content offering, and we look forward to bringing more original Korean content to our viewers worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hye-jung Hwang, chief content officer at TVING said, \u201cRecently, colorful TVING original series in different genres such as fantasy action, thriller and historical drama have entered the global awards ceremony competition both domestically and abroad.
