Skydance Television has secured an exclusive first-look deal with author James Patterson to develop a slate of shows based on a selection of his top-selling book series.<\/p>\n
The partnership includes the\u00a0Women\u2019s Murder Club<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0Michael Bennett\u00a0<\/i>book series, along with\u00a0Private\u00a0<\/i>and the soon-to-be-published books\u00a0Jane Smith\u00a0<\/i>and\u00a0Holmes, Miss Marple and Poe<\/i>.<\/p>\n
Skydance Television is also currently in production on the series\u00a0Cross,\u00a0<\/em>based on Patterson\u2019s\u00a0Alex Cross<\/em>\u00a0novels, starring Aldis Hodge as the titular character, with Paramount Television Studios for Prime Video.<\/p>\n Women\u2019s Murder Club<\/em>\u00a0follows a group of women from different professions relating to investigating crime as they work together to solve murders.<\/p>\n Michael Bennett<\/em>\u00a0follows NYPD Detective Michael Bennett as he solves crimes and raises his ten adopted children.<\/p>\n Private\u00a0<\/em>is set against\u00a0a high-end private investigation agency run by former CIA agent Jack Morgan.
