Quay Street Productions has appointed Mammoth Screen and ITV Studios alum Samantha McMillon as its new chief operating officer.<\/p>\n
In the newly created role, McMillon will oversee commercial operations at the company, which is set to release Nolly<\/em> and Significant Other<\/em> this year. She joins from Mammoth Screen, where she served as managing director.<\/p>\n At Mammoth Screen, McMillon oversaw the company\u2019s growing drama slate and fostered new relationships domestically and internationally. Prior to that, she was at ITV Studios, where she worked in the distribution arm\u2019s content team before becoming commercial director of scripted.<\/p>\n At Quay Street, she will work alongside Nicola Shindler, producer and founder of the company, which is part of ITV Studios.<\/p>\n \u201cHaving had an opportunity to work with one of the most formidable producers in the business in Mammoth Screen, it is beyond exciting for me to be able to join another in Quay Street,\u201d McMillon said. \u201cI simply cannot wait to get started alongside Nicola and the Quay Street team during this period of significant growth.\u201d<\/p>\n Shindler added, \u201cAs Quay Street enters a period of growth and a hugely busy year in production, we are incredibly excited to have Sam on board.
