When she \u201caccidentally\u201d kills an unpleasant town resident, she discovers she has an untapped bloodlust and ends up enjoying finding more crafty methods to kill off other unlikeable neighbors.<\/p>\n<p><em>Obituary<\/em> is written by Irish scriptwriter Ray Lawlor (<em>Le Ceangal<\/em>) and directed by John Hayes (<em>Dublin Murders<\/em>, <em>Bancroft<\/em>), with Nell Green (<em>The Outfit<\/em>, <em>The Undeclared War<\/em>) as producer. The series is set to begin production in Ireland in 2023. It is made in association with F\u00eds \u00c9ireann\/Screen Ireland, BAI and The Wrap Fund. The series will debut on Hulu later in 2023. RT\u00c9 in Ireland has prebrought the show.<\/p>\n<p>Executive producers Laurent Boissel and Paddy Hayes said, \u201cIt has been a blast pitching this wonderful high concept drama to various funders and broadcast partners over the past few years\u2014an obituarist who resorts to murder to stay in a job!
