Two Brothers Pictures alum Christopher Aird has been tapped by Element Pictures for the newly created role of creative director.<\/p>\n

Aird starts in the role in January 2023 and will be based at Element\u2019s London office. He joins the team from Two Brothers Pictures, where he served as head of drama for the last five years, executive producing hit series such as the Jamie Dornan-fronted The Tourist <\/em>and\u00a0two seasons of Baptiste<\/em>, as well as Liar<\/em>, Angela Black<\/em>, Cheat<\/em> and The Widow<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the newly created role of creative director, Aird will work alongside co-founder and co-CEO Ed Guiney managing Element\u2019s development and production slate across television and film for the U.K., U.S. and international market and will also manage the editorial team while continuing his own work as an executive producer on selected projects.<\/p>\n

Aird said: “It\u2019s difficult to leave Two Brothers as I\u2019ve loved working there, but the opportunity to be creative director at one of the most exciting scripted production companies in Europe is too good to pass up. Everything Element has made\u2014from The Lobster<\/em> to Room<\/em> to Normal People<\/em> and Conversations With Friends\u2014<\/em>shows such commitment to realizing writers\u2019 and directors\u2019 visions. I\u2019m looking forward to working with Ed, Andrew and the team.”<\/p>\n
