Channel 4 has unveiled the 12 writers who won places in the 2022 edition of its drama screenwriting course, 4Screenwriting.<\/p>\n
The course pairs upcoming writers with an industry script editor to develop a pilot episode script and introduce them to key contacts within the industry. Over the last 12 years, it has taken on over 140 new writers.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s chosen participants, selected from almost 3,000 applications, are Iman Boujelouah, Edward Cripps, Lucy Goodman, Tiwa Lade, Nicole Latchana, William Mager, Nina Millns, Anthony Moriarty, Kirsty Rider, Harry Robertson, Paven Virk and Lydia Yeoman.<\/p>\n
The list of alumni includes Charlie Covell\u00a0(The End of the F**king World<\/em>, Banana<\/em>); Anna Symon (Indian Summers<\/em>, Mrs Wilson<\/em>, The Essex Serpent<\/em>), Theresa Ikoko (Rocks<\/em>), Nathaniel Price (Noughts & Crosses<\/em>, Tin Star<\/em>, The Offenders<\/em>), Adam Usden (Zero Chill<\/em>), Namsi Khan (His Dark Materials<\/em>, Humans<\/em>), Chandni Lakhani (The Dublin Murders<\/em>, Vigil<\/em>), Amy Trigg (Ralph and Katie<\/em>), Annalisa D’Innella (Ralph and Katie<\/em>) and Laurence Clark (Perfect<\/em>).<\/p>\n The 4Screenwriting course will run again in 2023, and entries are being accepted from September 16 to October 3, 2022.
