Hulu\u2019s hit drama series The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em> has been renewed for a sixth and final season ahead of its season five premiere.<\/p>\n

Bruce Miller, creator, showrunner and executive producer of The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>, is actively developing The Testaments<\/em>, a follow-up to the series that picks up years later.<\/p>\n

The fifth season of The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em> premieres with two episodes on September 14 on Hulu.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a true honor to tell the story of Margaret Atwood\u2019s groundbreaking novel and chillingly relevant world, and we are thrilled to bring viewers a sixth and final season of The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>,\u201d said Miller. \u201cWe are grateful to Hulu and MGM for allowing us to tell this story, which unfortunately has remained as relevant as ever throughout its run, and are in awe of our incredible fans for their unwavering support, and without whom we never would have gotten to this point.\u201d<\/p>\n
