The eight-episode season is set to debut in 2023 exclusively on Paramount+.<\/p>\n<p><em>School Spirits<\/em> is based on the upcoming graphic novel by Nate and Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen, which will be released in the fall of 2023. Oliver Goldstick (<em>Pretty Little Liars<\/em>, <em>Bridgerton<\/em>) serves as showrunner and executive producer on the series, along with Nate and Megan Trinrud, who wrote the pilot. Max Winkler (<em>Cruel Summer<\/em>, <em>Jungleland<\/em>) will direct and executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>Additional cast members joining the series alongside List include Kristian Flores (<em>Reboot<\/em>, <em>The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent<\/em>), Spencer MacPherson (<em>Reign<\/em>, <em>Degrassi: Next Class<\/em>), Kiara Pichardo (<em>The Society<\/em>, <em>Mother\/Android<\/em>), Sarah Yarkin (<em>Texas Chainsaw Massacre,<\/em> <em>Happy Death Day 2U<\/em>), Nick Pugliese (<em>Dramarama<\/em>), Rainbow Wedell (<em>The Wilds<\/em>, <em>The Bureau of Magical Things<\/em>) and Milo Manheim (<em>Zombies 3<\/em>, <em>Prom Pact<\/em>).
