An accident causes the event to end abruptly and shocks the entire town as explosive secrets emerge in its aftermath.<\/p>\n<p>Filming of <em>The Beach Hotel<\/em> has commenced in the Swedish coastal town of Varberg, and the series will premiere exclusively on Viaplay in 2023. Created by L\u00e4ckberg, the series features as its lead writers Lovisa L\u00f6whagen and Jakob Vasell, who both worked on <em>Hammarvik<\/em>, a previous collaboration between L\u00e4ckberg and Viaplay. The series is executive produced by Kristoffer Graci and Lotta Dolk at Creative Society Production and Viaplay Group, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>L\u00e4ckberg said: \u201cSoap opera is an incredible genre that viewers really connect with. I\u2019m so happy to make this show with Viaplay and take viewers to such a beautiful location. But as every soap fan knows, there\u2019s often something lurking behind an idyll. It\u2019s time for audiences to sink their teeth into a new soap with exciting new characters and intrigues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Filippa Wallestam, Viaplay Group\u2019s chief content officer, said: \u201cCamilla L\u00e4ckberg and Viaplay\u2019s <em>Hammarvik<\/em> has single-handedly renewed the Nordic soap opera. Her next epic offers rivalries, forbidden love and, as usual with Camilla, a distinct risk that some characters won\u2019t make it to the end.
