{"id":17173,"date":"2022-07-08T09:23:46","date_gmt":"2022-07-08T13:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/espionage-thriller-gray-heads-production\/"},"modified":"2022-07-08T12:34:10","modified_gmt":"2022-07-08T16:34:10","slug":"espionage-thriller-gray-heads-into-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/espionage-thriller-gray-heads-into-production\/","title":{"rendered":"Espionage Thriller Gray Heads into Production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Principal photography has started in Toronto on the espionage thriller series <em>Gray<\/em> from AGC Television, Lionsgate\u202fand\u202fNight Train Media.<\/p>\n<p>Starring Patricia Clarkson and Lydia West, <em>Gray<\/em> is directed by Ruba Nadda (<em>Queens;<\/em>\u00a0<em>Roswell, New Mexico<\/em>; <em>NCIS: Los Angeles<\/em>).\u202fThe eight-part series is written by John McLaughlin (<em>Black Swan<\/em>, <em>Hitchcock<\/em>) based on an idea from best-selling author David Baldacci (<em>Absolute Power<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Gray<\/em> is the story of CIA spy Cornelia Gray (Clarkson), who comes in from the cold after 20\u00a0years in hiding, dodging the Government agents who suspected her of being a traitor. She returns to her old\u00a0life just as it is discovered that there is a new mole within her old spy network.<\/p>\n<p>On board as executive producers are AGC\u2019s Ford and Diaz; Clarkson; McLaughlin; Baldacci; Nadda; Marc Shmuger; Lionsgate\u2019s Agapy Kapouranis and Elliott Brannon; and Night Train Media\u2019s Herbert L. Kloiber.
