{"id":17062,"date":"2022-06-22T09:53:24","date_gmt":"2022-06-22T13:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/goquest-media-sends-traitor-australia\/"},"modified":"2022-06-22T09:53:24","modified_gmt":"2022-06-22T13:53:24","slug":"goquest-media-sends-traitor-to-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/goquest-media-sends-traitor-to-australia\/","title":{"rendered":"GoQuest Media Sends Traitor to Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>GoQuest Media has sold the spy thriller <em>Traitor<\/em>, from Elisa Estonia and ERR, to SBS in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>SBS has acquired the exclusive AVOD rights to the series, which is inspired by the spy scandals that came about when Estonia planned to join NATO and became a top target for Russian intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>Starring Tambet Tuisk (<em>The Little Comrade<\/em>, <em>O2<\/em>, <em>Zero Point<\/em>, <em>The Poll Diaries<\/em>), <em>Traitor<\/em> is directed by Ergo Kuld and written by Martin Algus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Traitor<\/em> makes an important statement on what it means to put oneself before the well-being of others,\u201d said Jimmy George, VP of sales and acquisitions at GoQuest Media. \u201cAlfred Vint needs money and recognition, and he gets both from the Russians. But somewhere, the thin line between ambition and greed disappears, and he finds himself in a situation he can&#8217;t walk away from.
