UKTV has secured the rights to air the U.K. premiere of CSI: Vegas<\/em> for its Alibi crime drama channel.<\/p>\n

The fifth series in the CSI<\/em> franchise, CSI: Vegas<\/em> is positioned as the sequel to the global hit\u00a0CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/em>. It is slated to premiere on Alibi in July.<\/p>\n

The 10×1-hour series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and was licensed from Paramount Global Content Distribution.<\/p>\n

Melanie Rumani, global head of acquisitions at BBC Studios, said, \u201cThis deal again shows UKTV is an excellent partner to home premium U.S. drama. We\u2019re also pleased to have strengthened our relationship with Paramount with this deal and look forward to doing many more in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alibi\u2019s channel director, Emma Ayech, added, \u201cThe CSI<\/em> franchise has a proven appeal to audiences, and we can\u2019t wait to get CSI: Vegas<\/em> to U.K. screens on Alibi.
