Filippa Wallestam, executive VP and chief content officer at Viaplay Group, is among the speakers for the TV Drama Festival, which you can register for here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Viaplay Group has positioned itself as \u201cthe international streaming challenger.\u201d Prior to taking on her role as executive VP and chief content officer in October 2019, Wallestam held such positions as CEO of the company\u2019s Swedish operations and head of strategy for free TV and radio in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. She joined the company in 2014.<\/p>\n

Running from June 28 to 29, the TV Drama Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the business of scripted series today. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVDramaFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Drama Festival is free.<\/p>\n

Wallestam joins previously announced speakers Howard Gordon, Robert and Michelle King, Juan Jos\u00e9 Campanella, Neil Dudgeon, Lionsgate\u2019s Sandra Stern, Banijay\u2019s Lars Blomgren and Kudos\u2019 Karen Wilson.
