{"id":16936,"date":"2022-06-02T10:07:14","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T14:07:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/cast-set-sullivans-crossing-adaptation\/"},"modified":"2022-06-02T10:07:14","modified_gmt":"2022-06-02T14:07:14","slug":"cast-set-for-sullivans-crossing-adaptation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/cast-set-for-sullivans-crossing-adaptation\/","title":{"rendered":"Cast Set for Sullivan\u2019s Crossing Adaptation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Morgan Kohan <em>(Transplant<\/em>), Chad Michael Murray (<em>One Tree Hill<\/em>) and Scott Patterson (<em>Gilmore Girls<\/em>) are set to star in the upcoming\u00a0<em>Sullivan\u2019s Crossing<\/em> adaptation from\u00a0CTV, Fremantle and Reel World Management.<\/p>\n<p>Based on Robyn Carr\u2019s best-selling books, the series sees neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Kohan) leave her life in the city after a scandalous incident and return home to her estranged father (Patterson) at Sullivan\u2019s Crossing, a rural campground and outpost.<\/p>\n<p>The cast also includes Tom Jackson (<em>Cardinal<\/em>), Andrea Menard (<em>The Velvet Devil<\/em>), Lynda Boyd (<em>Virgin River<\/em>), Allan Hawco (<em>Jack Ryan<\/em>) and Amalia Williamson (<em>Northern Rescue<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Sullivan\u2019s Crossing<\/em> is executive produced by Reel World Management in association with CTV and Fremantle. It is an interprovincial co-production with Nova Scotia-based producer Mike Volpe and Ontario-based producer Mark Gingras producing. Fremantle will also handle global distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Roma Roth will showrun as well as executive producer, alongside Fremantle\u2019s Michela Di Mondo, executive VP of distribution and sales for Canada, and Hilary Martin, executive producer of global drama.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe cannot wait to bring this honest and powerful adaptation to life alongside our fantastic producing partners, Reel World Management and Fremantle,\u201d said Justin Stockman, VP of content development and programming at Bell Media. \u201cLed by a star-studded cast, we know viewers will fall in love with the story and characters, and make <i>Sullivan\u2019s Crossing<\/i>\u00a0a must-watch series.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to once again be working with author Robyn Carr to develop an emotionally compelling series that will resonate with her dedicated global fan base,\u201d Roth said.<\/p>\n<p>Di Mondo added, \u201cAt Fremantle, we are always looking for strong IP and authentic stories that speak to audiences around the world.
