The series is the first project hailing from Elba\u2019s first-look deal with Apple TV+.<\/p>\n<p>Elba will star as Sam Nelson, an accomplished negotiator who must use all his skills to try and save the lives of the passengers.<\/p>\n<p>The series is written by George Kay (<em>Lupin<\/em>, <em>Criminal<\/em>) and will be directed by Jim Field Smith (<em>Criminal<\/em>, <em>The Wrong Mans<\/em>).
