Kate Winslet (Mare of Easttown<\/em>, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind<\/em>) and her daughter Mia Threapleton (Shadows<\/em>, Dangerous Liaisons<\/em>) are set to star in the third season of Channel 4\u2019s anthology series I Am<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Created, written and directed by Dominic Savage (The Escape<\/em>), the series of single films explores the experiences of women in emotionally raw, thought-provoking and personal moments. Winslet will take the lead role in\u00a0I Am Ruth<\/em>, which will begin production at the end of April.<\/p>\n

Produced by Me+You Productions, the series has previously starred Vicky McClure in I Am Nicola<\/em>, Samantha Morton in I Am Kirsty<\/em>, Gemma Chan in I Am Hannah<\/em>, Suranne Jones in I Am Victoria<\/em>, Letitia Wright in I Am Danielle<\/em> and Lesley Manville in I Am Maria<\/em>.<\/p>\n

I Am<\/em> is co-funded by Sky Studios, and international sales are handled by NBCUniversal Global Distribution.<\/p>\n
