The third season sees the crew go to Northern Germany\u2019s Kiel, the major naval base of the German Reich.<\/p>\n<p>The cast includes Tom Wlaschiha (<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>), Franz Dinda (<em>The Cloud<\/em>), Rick Okon (<em>Tatort<\/em>), Pierre Kiwitt (<em>Lobos sucios<\/em>), Leonard Scheicher (<em>Finsterworld<\/em>) and Robert Stadlober (<em>Summer Storm<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Das Boot<\/em> is written by head writers Colin Teevan and Tony Saint, as well as staff writer Judith Angerbauer. The first five episodes of season three are directed by Hans Steinbichler (<em>Winter Journey<\/em>, <em>The Diary of Anne Frank<\/em>), while the latter five are directed by Dennis Gansel (<em>The Wave<\/em>, <em>Mechanic\u2014Resurrection<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Season three will be available in all Sky markets, including the U.K., Ireland, Italy, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. NBCUniversal Global Distribution will handle international sales.
