Desperate to escape their ordinary reality and with aspirations of pop stardom, five hopeful women step into the spotlight\u2014only to find that their dream of fame is compromised by what it takes to achieve it.<\/p>\n<p>The drama is created and written by Ainslie Clouston (<em>Darby and Joan<\/em>, <em>Amazing Grace<\/em>, <em>Playing for Keeps<\/em>) and developed with Claire Phillips (<em>RFDS<\/em>, <em>The Wrong Girl<\/em>, <em>Playing for Keeps<\/em>). It has been slated for a 2023 debut.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Fennessy, producer and HELIUM founder, said: \u201c<em>Paper Dolls<\/em> is a deeply fascinating, female-driven drama with a female-led creative team.
