SYFY’s The Ark<\/em>, which has commenced production at PFI Studios in Belgrade, Serbia, has confirmed Christie Burke and Richard Fleeshman among its series regulars.<\/p>\n

Created by Dean Devlin, The Ark<\/em> takes place 100 years in the future, when planetary colonization missions have begun to help secure the survival of the human race. The first of these missions\u2014on a spacecraft known as Ark One\u2014encounters a catastrophic event, leaving the remaining crew with a year left before reaching their target planet, a lack of supplies and a loss of leadership.<\/p>\n

Devlin and Jonathan Glassner are co-showrunners and executive produce alongside Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment. Jonathan English of Balkanic Media and Steve Lee serve as producers.
