The Icelandic thriller Black Sands<\/em><\/a> is one of several crime dramas All3Media International is showcasing in the TV Drama Screenings Festival<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Stephen Driscoll, executive VP for EMEA, calls the show, from Glassriver and acclaimed director Baldvin Z, \u201ccinematic Nordic noir that flawlessly combines a gripping murder mystery with intriguing and poignant family drama.\u201d<\/p>\n

Driscoll also highlights Jed Mercurio\u2019s Trigger Point<\/em><\/a>, a \u201ctautly drawn, action-packed story\u201d starring Vicky McClure that has been renewed for a second season.<\/p>\n

Season three of the Welsh drama Hidden<\/em> (Craith<\/em>)<\/a> is also on offer. \u201cThis is Welsh noir at its absolute finest,\u201d Driscoll says. \u201cThis atmospheric crime drama from Severn Screen features the very best of the country\u2019s talent, both in front and behind the camera. Sian Reese-Williams stars in the latest season of this acclaimed, award-winning series playing DCI Cadi John as she carries out murder investigations against the dramatic scenery of the Welsh valleys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Driscoll also highlights the four-part The Holiday<\/em><\/a>, calling it a \u201csizzling thriller.\u201d Fom Projector Pictures and Clapperboard Entertainment, the show is \u201cpacked with exhilarating twists and turns. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats as they follow the startling revelations that unfold<\/p>\n

The Forge\u2019s Rules of the Game<\/em><\/a> with Maxine Peake explores \u201ctimely issues,\u201d Driscoll notes. \u201cRuth Fowler\u2019s sharp, meticulously plotted script and Maxine Peake\u2019s dazzling performance result in a captivating series that interrogates what it takes to survive the sexual politics and toxic culture in the modern workplace.\u201d<\/p>\n

The second season of the international co-pro Van der Valk<\/em><\/a> is also available. \u201cA fantastic, modern crime drama, infused with heart and humor from Chris Murray\u2019s brilliant script and led by an exceptional performance from Marc Warren.
