{"id":16420,"date":"2022-03-03T10:30:39","date_gmt":"2022-03-03T15:30:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/disney-expanding-asian-content-offering\/"},"modified":"2022-03-03T10:30:39","modified_gmt":"2022-03-03T15:30:39","slug":"disney-expanding-asian-content-offering","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/disney-expanding-asian-content-offering\/","title":{"rendered":"Disney+ Expanding Asian Content Offering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Disney+ has revealed new South Korean and Indonesian titles set to debut across AsiaPac markets this year.<\/p>\n<p>Among the South Korean titles for the platform is <em>Soundtrack #1<\/em>, a music-centered romantic drama about two people walking the line between romance and friendship.<\/p>\n<p>Other Korean titles coming to Disney+ are <em>Big Mouth<\/em>, a thriller that sees a third-rate lawyer tangled up in a complex conspiracy; <em>The Zone: Survival Mission<\/em>, a survival game show where celebrities must break out of escape rooms; and <em>Crazy Love<\/em>, a rom-com featuring an unexpected pairing.<\/p>\n<p>These titles are in addition to the previously announced Korean titles <em>Moving<\/em> and <em>King of Savvy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are really excited to showcase our curated collection of unrivaled Korean stories that we believe will captivate viewers globally,&#8221; said Jessica Kam-Engle, head of content and development for AsiaPac at The Walt Disney Company. &#8220;Our focus is quality storytelling and uncovering narratives that have great emotional and cultural impact. As long-term creative partners, we work alongside the best and most imaginative creators in the region to deliver their content alongside the world&#8217;s best stories.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Disney+ viewers in the region will also see new Indonesian titles debut throughout the year, including <em>Wedding Agreement The Series<\/em>, based on the best-selling novel and film of the same name.
