Endor Productions has promoted Carlo Dusi to managing director as founder Hilary Bevan Jones moves to dedicate time to more hands-on producing.<\/p>\n
As managing director, Dusi, who joined the company as executive producer and strategy director in 2021 from Red Arrow Studios International, will drive the continued expansion of Endor\u2019s slate and focus on talent packaging, financing and production.<\/p>\n
Dusi\u2019s past credits include BAFTA Award-winning Taboo<\/em>, Chris Smith\u2019s Get Santa<\/em>, Sean Foley\u2019s Mindhorn<\/em> and James Kent\u2019s The Aftermath<\/em>. Most recently, he executive produced two seasons of Vienna Blood<\/em> and two seasons of Departure<\/em>.<\/p>\n Bevan Jones, who founded Endor in 1998, is currently working on Neil Gaiman\u2019s Anansi Boys<\/em> for Amazon Studios, season three of Vienna Blood<\/em> and the forthcoming romantic comedy film But When We Dance<\/em>. In 2006, she became the chairman of BAFTA\u2014the first woman to hold the position. Currently, she chairs Watersprite, the Cambridge International Student Film Festival.<\/p>\n Endor has also promoted Ian McBain, who joined in 2015 as head of finance and commercial affairs, to director of finance and operations. He will now oversee the company\u2019s financial management and all aspects of its operations. McBain and Dusi will jointly drive business strategy.<\/p>\n Previously, McBain worked as a financial controller at Twenty Twenty Productions (Shed\/Warner Bros. TV) and Left Bank Pictures (Sony Pictures Television). His past credits include First Dates<\/em>, Garrow\u2019s Law<\/em>, World\u2019s Strictest Parents<\/em>, Gareth Malone\u2019s Choir<\/em>, Strike Back<\/em>, Outlander<\/em>, Wallander<\/em>, DCI Banks<\/em> and The Crown<\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dusi commented, \u201cI could not be more thrilled to take on the MD role at Endor and continue to work with the wonderful Endor family in building upon the legacy that Hilary has created through her incredible slate of projects.
