James (<em>If Beale Street Could Talk<\/em>, <em>Homecoming<\/em>) will step into the role of Basquiat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re grateful to be working with Shamier, Stephan and the entire Bay Mills Studios team to tell the story of a visionary artist whose profound cultural influence only continues to grow with time,\u201d said Steve Lescroart, president of Boat Rocker Studios for scripted. \u201cWe know that audiences around the world will be captivated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled to partner with Boat Rocker to bring to life the story of Jean-Michel Basquiat,\u201d said James. \u201cJean-Michel is an artist I have long revered and someone who has greatly influenced my work over the years.
