In Australia, <em>The Newsreader<\/em> was ABC\u2019s number one most-watched drama of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>eOne has sold the series to the BBC (the U.K.), ARTE (France and Germany), RT\u00c9 (Ireland), Viaplay (the Nordic and Baltic regions, Poland and the Netherlands), Cosmo (Spain), Filmin (Portugal and second window in Spain), Now TV (Hong Kong), TELUS (Canada) and NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-to-Consumer (Latin America).<\/p>\n<p><em>The Newsreader<\/em> stars Anna Torv (<em>Mindhunter<\/em>, <em>Fringe<\/em>) and Sam Reid (<em>Prime Suspect 1973<\/em>, <em>Lambs of God<\/em>) in the lead roles.
