HBO has renewed its original drama series The Gilded Age<\/em>, which debuted in January, for a second season.<\/p>\n From creator Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey<\/em>), the 19th-century drama sees young Marian Brook move from rural Pennsylvania to New York City to live with her old money aunts, who are enmeshed in a social war with their newly rich neighbors.<\/p>\n Louisa Jacobson, Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Den\u00e9e Benton, Morgan Spector and Carrie Coon star in the leading roles.<\/p>\n The series is co-produced by HBO and Universal Television and directed by Michael Engler and Salli Richardson-Whitfield.
