Dynamic Television has named Annika Schmidt, former commissioning editor for international co-productions at ZDF, as head of German originals and European co-productions.<\/p>\n

Based in Germany, Schmidt’s responsibilities include the development and production of scripted drama for Dynamic\u2019s German slate, focusing on high-end series and miniseries.<\/p>\n

Schmidt will report to Klaus Zimmermann, managing partner of Dynamic Television.<\/p>\n

During her time at ZDF, she worked with Dynamic on The Sommerdahl Murders<\/em> and helped develop high-profile series such as The Tourist<\/em>, The Mallorca Files<\/em>, Furia<\/em> and Spy City<\/em> for German and international markets.<\/p>\n
