A Hasidic psychologist and agnostic physicist join forces to explore the Hasidic occult and find the spirit&#8217;s origins.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Avni (<em>Valley of Tears<\/em>, <em>State Rules<\/em>, <em>Past Life<\/em>) and Lioz Levy (<em>Her Dance<\/em>, <em>Magpie<\/em>) star in the lead roles, alongside Maya Wertheimer (<em>Shababnikim<\/em>, <em>Morobot<\/em>), Hisham Suliman (<em>Fauda<\/em>, <em>The Beauty Queen of Jerusalem<\/em>) Dar Zuzovsky (<em>The Greenhouse<\/em>, <em>Hostages<\/em>, <em>The Baker and the Beauty<\/em>), Esti Zakheim (<em>The Commune<\/em>, <em>Bonjour Monsieur Shlomi<\/em>), Shai Avivi (<em>Pillars of Smoke<\/em>, <em>One Week and a Day<\/em>, <em>Black Space<\/em>), Lir Katz (<em>Shababnikim<\/em>, <em>Dismissed<\/em>), Adi Gilat (<em>The Arbitrator<\/em>, <em>Consolation<\/em>), Elisha Banai (<em>Fullmoon<\/em>, <em>Apples from the Desert<\/em>), among others.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Malevolent Bride<\/em> is created, written and executive produced by Noah Stollman, Avigail Ben-Dor Niv and Oded Davidoff. Barry Jossen and Tana Jamieson serve as executive producers for A+E Studios. For Ananey Studios,\u00a0Orly-Atlas Katz and Osnat Saraga executive produce. Davidoff directs.<\/p>\n<p>The project is the first collaboration between U.S.-based A+E Studios and Israel-based Ananey Studios.
