Fremantle has inked a raft of sales for Niccol\u00f2 Ammaniti\u2019s dystopian, new-world drama Anna<\/em> in over 30 countries and territories, including a multi-territory deal with Disney+.<\/p>\n

The six-part series, based on Ammaniti\u2019s own book, takes place in a ravaged world destroyed by a virus that kills adults but spares children. It will launch on Disney+ in the U.K., Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.<\/p>\n

Anna will launch on AMC+ in the U.S. on November 18. It has also been sold to TV3 Group (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania), Cosmote TV and Hellenic (Greece), Go PLC and Melita (Malta), Manoto TV (MENA), Canal+ (Poland), Amedia TV Channels (Russia and CIS), BluTV (Turkey), MOLA TV (Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore), Watcha (Korea) and Videotron (French-speaking Canada).<\/p>\n
