The series, produced by Valeriy Fedorovich and Evgeniy Nikishov, was nominated for Best Series at the Cannes International Series Festival in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The series is currently available on Netflix in North America.<\/p>\n<p>Dean Devlin, CEO of Electric Entertainment, said: \u201cIt\u2019s refreshing to see worldwide audiences responding more and more to shows of all origins. <em>To the Lake<\/em> is a perfect addition to Electric\u2019s thriving lineup of TV series as we expand our reach into foreign-language productions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nolan Pielak, senior VP of international distribution and co-production at Electric, commented: \u201cThis TV series contains well-written characters and is quite different from other apocalyptic dramas. Although the subject matter is close to home, the drama that ensues within these dysfunctional families living together makes for a very compelling story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\u200bNadiia Zaionchovsk, international sales and co-production executive at Russia\u2019s 1-2-3 Production, said: \u201c<em>To the Lake<\/em> has universal appeal due to its intriguing storyline, fast pace and outstanding cast performance.
