Cineflix Rights has entered into a development deal with Synchronicity Films and Dragonet Films for the drama series Song of the Sun God<\/em>, adapted from Shankari Chandran\u2019s debut novel.<\/p>\n

Cineflix Rights comes on board as a creative and financing partner, with the first option on exclusive worldwide distribution. The six-part thriller explores loves, lies and misdemeanors spanning three generations of a close-knit Sri Lankan family, whose story is entangled in their country\u2019s three-decade-long civil war.<\/p>\n

Song of the Sun God<\/em> is being adapted for TV by Olivia Hetreed (Girl with a Pearl Earring<\/em>, Wuthering Heights<\/em>). Executive producers are Claire Mundell for Synchronicity Films and Karen Radzyner for Dragonet Films.<\/p>\n
