H\u00e5kon Briseid has been tapped as the new CEO of Banijay Nordic’s scripted label Rubicon, joining from Norway\u2019s Monster.<\/p>\n
Briseid had been responsible for Monster\u2019s scripted division for over a decade. During his time there, Briseid executive produced numerous hit dramas, including The Half Brother<\/em>, Nobel<\/em>, Borderliner<\/em>, Young & Promising<\/em>, P\u00f8rni<\/em> and the upcoming Furia<\/em>.<\/p>\n At Rubicon, Briseid will report to Banijay Nordic\u2019s CEO, Jacob Houlind, and the region\u2019s head of scripted, Johannes Jensen. He will work with creative leaders Anne Bj\u00f8rnstad and Eilif Skodvin on building the company\u2019s lineup of original content for both the Norwegian and international markets.<\/p>\n Briseid will take up the position early in 2022.<\/p>\n Briseid commented: \u201cSixteen years at Monster speaks for itself.
