DeMane Davis, the television director\/producer and filmmaker behind Queen Sugar<\/em> and Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam CJ Walker<\/em>, has signed an exclusive, multiyear overall deal with Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG).<\/p>\n

Under terms of the pact, Davis will be a co-executive producer on the new DC drama Naomi<\/em> and will serve as the producing director on the series, helming multiple episodes throughout the season and overseeing the show\u2019s directing team. Naomi<\/em> is from Ava DuVernay, Jill Blankenship, ARRAY Filmworks and Warner Bros. Television for The CW.<\/p>\n

In addition to joining the creative team behind Naomi<\/em>, Davis will render directing services exclusively for the studio and develop new original programming for all platforms, including WarnerMedia\u2019s HBO Max, external streaming services, cable and the broadcast networks.<\/p>\n
