Roughcut TV has furthered its move into drama production with the appointment of Sophia Rashid and Aisling Kiely as drama development producers and the promotion of Marianna Abbotts to executive producer of drama.<\/p>\n
Kiely joins Roughcut TV having worked as a development producer and script consultant with series credits across the BBC, ITV, NBC and Sky. She has worked in-house at Working Title and Endor Productions and ran the development team at Twelve Town, as well as provided consultancy work at partner company Riff Raff Entertainment.<\/p>\n
Rashid joins the company from her role as executive producer in BBC Children\u2019s In House drama productions. Rashid also worked as a producer on Holby City<\/em> for BBC Studios and a development producer in the BBC Writers\u2019 Room.<\/p>\n Alex Smith, head of scripted, said: “We\u2019re thrilled to welcome two brilliant new script brains to the drama team. Aisling and Sophia both bring bags of creativity and a long list of exciting new talent to our writing pool.
