Netflix has ordered a second season of the Swedish original series Snabba Cash<\/em>, starring Evin Ahmad in the leading role.<\/p>\n

The second season will continue the story of Leya and her contrasting life between a ruthless start-up environment and Stockholm\u2019s underworld. Snabba Cash<\/em> season two, written by Oskar S\u00f6derlund and directed by Jesper Ganslandt, who also are the creators and showrunners behind the series, will be released globally on Netflix in 2022.<\/p>\n

Snabba Cash<\/em> is produced by Nicklas Wikstr\u00f6m Nicastro for SF Studios in collaboration with Strive Stories. It is inspired by the internationally acclaimed book Snabba Cash<\/em> by author Jens Lapidus, which has previously been adapted into three feature films by SF Studios.<\/p>\n

Jesper Ganslandt, director, and Oskar S\u00f6derlund, head writer, said: \u201cWith Snabba Cash<\/em> season one we wanted to tell a contemporary story. With characters that, though they commit morally doubtful acts, share the same feelings and dreams as many of us. We are overwhelmed that so many people have taken our series to their hearts. But the coolest thing of all is that a lot of people have felt they finally have been represented in a big drama series. That is truly the finest reward of all.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nicklas Wikstr\u00f6m Nicastro, producer, said: \u201cI am so grateful to be able to continue the joyous collaboration together with Oskar and Jesper after what we achieved on the first season. I am also thrilled to do this together with the friends at SF Studios and Netflix, who have shown this project nothing but faith and support ever since it was first initiated.\u201d<\/p>\n
