Longworth.<\/p>\n<p><em>Murder In Provence<\/em>\u00a0follows Antoine Verlaque, Investigating Judge in Aix-en-Provence, and romantic partner Marine Bonnet as they investigate the murders, mysteries and dark underbelly of their idyllic home. Their efforts are aided by H\u00e9l\u00e8ne, a detective and Antoine\u2019s trusted confidante.<\/p>\n<p>Roger Allam (<i>Endeavour<\/i>,<i> The Thick of It)<\/i>, Nancy Carroll (<i>The Crown<\/i>,<i> Father Brown<\/i>) and Keala Settle (<i>The Greatest Showman<\/i>) star.<\/p>\n<p>It is\u00a0being adapted for the screen by Shelagh Stephenson (<i>Shirley<\/i>,<i> Before You Go<\/i>,<i> Downton Abbey<\/i>), directed by Chloe Thomas (<i>The Deceived<\/i>,<i> Harlots<\/i>,<i> Victoria<\/i>) and produced by Grainne Marmion (<i>Harlots<\/i>,<i> Doctor Foster<\/i>). Executive producers are Debra Hayward, Alison Owen and Alison Carpenter. Stephenson and Allam also serve as executive producers.<\/p>\n<p>Will Harrison, managing director BritBox UK, said: \u201cWe hope that <em>Murder In Provence<\/em> will be the first of many global originals made exclusively for BritBox subscribers. The books by M.L.
