ZDF Enterprises is set to co-produce the second season of the drama and catastrophe thriller Sl\u00f8born<\/em>, which it will also distribute globally.<\/p>\n

Season one of the ZDFneo original series dealt with the outbreak of a virus that rampaged worldwide and how the inhabitants on the island of Sl\u00f8born fight to survive the catastrophe. In season two, audiences will experience the world after its collapse.<\/p>\n

Shooting for the new season will take place this spring. Wotan Wilke M\u00f6hring, Emily Kusche, Alexander Scheer, Aaron Hilmer, Adrian Gr\u00fcnewald and Lea van Acken will once again appear in front of the camera. Christian Alvart and Adolfo J. Kolmerer will direct, from a screenplay by Arend Remmers and Alvart.<\/p>\n

The second season is also produced by Syrreal Entertainment (producers: Sigi Kamml, Alvart and Timm Oberwelland) in co-production with ZDFneo, Tobis (Peter Eiff, Theo Gringel and Tobias Seiffert), Nordisk Film, Denmark and ZDF Enterprises (Robert Franke).
