CBS has officially ordered to series CSI: Vegas<\/em>, a sequel to the global hit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/em>\u00a0stars William Petersen and Jorja Fox will reprise their roles as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle, respectively. The\u00a0Vegas <\/em>series\u00a0will star\u00a0Paula Newsome, Matt Lauria, Mel Rodriguez and Mandeep Dhillon. Original CSI<\/em> star Wallace Langham will also return to the series as David Hodges.<\/p>\n

Produced by CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television,\u00a0CSI: Vegas<\/em>\u00a0opens a brand new chapter in the city where it all began. Facing an existential threat that could bring down the Crime Lab, a brilliant new team of forensic investigators must welcome back old friends and deploy new techniques to preserve and serve justice in Sin City.<\/p>\n

Created by Anthony Zuiker, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation<\/em>\u00a0premiered in 2000 on CBS and aired for 15 seasons, completing 335 episodes.<\/p>\n
