Working as a negotiator in cases similar to her own, B\u00e1rbara is on a mission to understand why this happened to her and uncover the people who threatened her life and her family.<\/p>\n<p>Marking StarzPlay\u2019s first international original series to be filmed and produced in Spain, <em>Express<\/em> is written by Iv\u00e1n Escobar (<em>Locked Up<\/em>), Antonio S\u00e1nchez Olivas (<em>Aida<\/em>) and Mart\u00edn Su\u00e1rez (<em>Rabia<\/em>), and created by Escobar, who also serves as the series showrunner. Gabe Ib\u00e1\u00f1ezn (<em>Aut\u00f3mata<\/em>) and I\u00f1aki Pe\u00f1afiel (<em>Perdida<\/em>) are set to direct. Produced by The Mediapro Studio, the eight-episode, one-hour series is scheduled to shoot for 17 weeks on location in and around Madrid.
