The series will premiere exclusively on BritBox in the U.S. and Canada and on BBC Daytime and BBC Northern Ireland in the U.K.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hope Street<\/em> is created by Susanne Farrell (<em>Dirty God<\/em>) and Paul Marquess (<em>London Kills<\/em>), written by Farrell, Jess Lea (<em>EastEnders<\/em>), Christine Murphy (<em>Emmerdale<\/em>), Stuart Drennan (<em>Hollyoaks<\/em>) and Shazia Rashid (<em>EastEnders<\/em>). Donna Wiffen (<em>The Bill<\/em>) and Marquess executive produce for Long Story TV. <em>Hope Street<\/em> will be made with the support of Northern Ireland Screen.<\/p>\n<p>The cast features Brid Brennan (<em>Brooklyn<\/em>), Des McAleer (<em>The Crown<\/em>), Ciar\u00e1n McMenamin (<em>Primeval<\/em>) and Amara Karan (<em>The Night of<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Emily Powers, head of BritBox North America, said: \u201c<em>Hope Street<\/em> offers a modern twist and a fresh setting for the mystery shows that are popular with BritBox fans. It\u2019s a new take on a beloved genre, set in an area rich in history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marquess of Long Story TV said: \u201cAfter nearly 30 years of producing drama in England, I am beyond excited to be heading home to make <em>Hope Street<\/em>. Set on Northern Ireland\u2019s stunning coastline, the series is a celebration of local writing, acting and production talent.
