An inflight deal has been signed with Emirates.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Watch<\/em> follows an unlikely group of misfits, The City Watch, who are forced to find the guts to save the world, surprising even themselves in the process.<\/p>\n<p>A BBC Studios Production, <em>The Watch<\/em> was originally commissioned for BBC America. BBC First has started to air the series in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It has also been sold to and premiered in Australia (Stan), China (Bilibili) and Russia (Kinopoisk).<\/p>\n<p>BBC Studios&#8217; president of global distribution, Paul Dempsey, said: \u201cFollowing its successful debut in the U.S.,\u00a0<em>The Watch<\/em> has captured the imagination of our international customers with its unique mix of escapism, comedy and crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Executive Producer at BBC Studios Production, Richard Stokes, added: \u201cIt is great to see buyers across the world recognize that this is a series their audiences will love. With a bold cast of characters, <em>The Watch<\/em> really breaks the mold for the fantasy genre.
