The project will air on AMC in the U.S. and Alibi in the U.K. The pitch-black and darkly witted thriller will be adapted into six parts, with a writing team led by Freddy Syborn (<em>Ms Marvel<\/em>, <em>Bad Education<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Also for AMC, the new prime-time animated drama <em>Pantheon<\/em> has added to its cast William Hurt (<em>Black Widow<\/em>, <em>Goliath<\/em>), Maude Apatow (<em>Euphoria<\/em>, <em>The King of Staten Island<\/em>), Corey Stoll (<em>Billions<\/em>, <em>Ant-Man<\/em>) and Lara Pulver (<em>The Angel of Darkness<\/em>, <em>Sherlock<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>AMC Studios also announced an exclusive, multiyear overall deal with <em>Pantheon<\/em> creator and showrunner Craig Silverstein (<em>Turn<\/em>, <em>Nikita<\/em>, <em>Terra Nova<\/em>) to develop and produce new series for AMC Networks\u2019 Entertainment Group as well as other content companies.<\/p>\n<p>AMC+ acquired the rights to three crime dramas launching exclusively in the U.S. on the new premium streaming bundle service this year. BRON Studios\u2019 and Headline Pictures\u2019 <em>Kin<\/em>, starring Charlie Cox, Clare Dunne and Aidan Gillen (<em>Game of Thrones<\/em>), will launch this fall as an AMC+ Original. All3Media International\u2019s psychological thriller <em>Too Close<\/em>, starring Emily Watson (<em>Chernobyl<\/em>), will debut later this year. Lionsgate\u2019s international crime drama <em>Cold Courage<\/em>, starring John Simm (<em>Doctor Who<\/em>), is slated to premiere the first three episodes on March 11.<\/p>\n<p>An Untitled Black Horror Anthology, showcasing stories of Black horror from Black directors and screenwriters, has been greenlit to debut later this year on Shudder and AMC+. Shudder also renewed the hit anthology series Creepshow for a third season of six episodes, set to premiere later this year.<\/p>\n<p><em>Covenant<\/em>, an anthology series with a contemporary portrayal of classic biblical tales, has been greenlit by ALLBLK, the newly rebranded streaming service focused on Black TV and film from AMC Networks.
